Alastair Donald

Alastair is an urban designer, researcher and writer. He�s currently engaged as a research student at the Martin Centre for Architectural and Urban Studies at University of Cambridge, and is developing a research project investigating spatial planning for an integrated metropolis. Alastair is co-editor of "The Future of Community".

Karl Sharro

Karl Sharro is an architect and writer based in London. He has practised architecture in London and Beirut, and taught at the Department of Architecture at the American University of Beirut for 5 years. Karl has written for a number of international publications such as Blueprint, Springerin (Austria), Parachute (Canada), Mark Magazine (the Netherlands).

Austin Williams

Austin Williams is director of the Future Cities Project; the architectural producer of NBS Learning Channels and author and illustrator of �Shortcuts: Books 1 & 2�. He devised and chairs the Bookshop Barnies. He is the author of �The Enemies of Progress: The Dangers of Sustainability�, co-editor of �The Future of Community� and co-author of �The Macro World of Microcars�. He was the technical editor at the Architects� Journal and has written for a range of books and publications, from Times Higher to Top Gear and from New Humanist to The Tablet.

Richard Williams

Richard runs the Graduate School of Arts, Culture and Environment at the University of Edinburgh, and is the director of the new MSc programme In the City. His books include "After Modern Sculpture" (2000), "The Anxious City" (2004), and "Brazil: Modern Architectures in History" (2009). He has contributed frequently to Blueprint, AJ and Freize.
